Fair Isle Sweater

Currently, I'm residing on a very small sliver of the couch with a cotton-ball-sized pillow because my six foot three husband thought it would be a good idea to pass out while hoarding a majority of the comfortable space and lying on not one, not two, but three pillows.
At least I ended up with the fuzziest, warmest blanket.

I took these pictures on Sunday night, but you're seeing them today because I didn't feel like documenting today's outfit, especially since I didn't don it until about 2 in the afternoon.
I have standards.

Anyway, this outfit was so warm that I didn't need a coat, and I always need a coat.
Yes, I was in a dressing room and took a picture of the outfit I was already wearing.
Yes, I've done it before.
No, I have no shame.

Outfit Deets:
Sweater: Christopher & Banks (I like this red and black one or this American Eagle one.)
Scarf: Gift from previous students :)
Jeans: American Eagle (I did these American Eagle ones.)
Boots: Franco Sarto via Marshall's (these from DSW are cute!)

Since I'm terribly sorry that I have nothing witty for you today, allow me to provide two random links:

1. I wanted to know where the phrase "the best thing since sliced bread" came from, so I did some research. See for yourself.
2. Am I the only one who's completely and utterly grossed out by this commercial
Ew.

  1. That's funny. I would totally do that. I'm digging that sweater, and love the boots. I'm following.
