Reverse 30x30: Yellow Polka Dot Blouse

It's raining, so I get to wear my rain boots from the best giveaway I might have ever won and will ever win.

I wanted to winterize this polka dot top, my reversed item, so I paired it with this navy blazer from Mom (Santa's got style) and fun boots. I'm almost 30, and my Mom dresses me. I have no shame.

Oh, and the unexpected two hour delay today? Absolutely glorious. It's amazing how well I function after actually sleeping. 7-7:30 am is the perfect wake up time in my humble opinion.

Reversed item (top): NY & Co
Blazer: gift (Gap)
Necklace: Target
Boots: won them in a giveaway this summer (Joules)
Jeans: The Limited

  1. Yay for a late start. I'm with you, getting up around 7:30 definitely makes the most sense. Santa does have style, this is a cute look!

  2. I totally agree about 7:30 being the perfect wake up time! This yellow top is absolutely adorable and those boots are fabulous. Any excuse to wear cute rain boots is A-Okay in my opinion!

  3. I love how the yellow brightens things up in this dreary weather! Every school around our district had a 2 hr delay, but we didn't *grumble, grumble

  4. Oh my goodness, this is so perfect! I love the navy and yellow, and those boots are wickedly cute. I'm so bummed, because when Kevin and I moved to our current apartment two years ago, I accidentally donate a bag of boots that I actually meant to put in the moving truck. That means that my darling paisley rain boots went to the Goodwill instead of with me. [I'm just having a little pity party for myself right now. Whoops.] I agree about waking up between 7-7:30. When I intern, however, I have to be at school and ready to go at 7:30...and I live 60-90 minutes away from both of my sites...which means I need to wake up at 5:00 at the latest to get my butt to my schools. GROSS. Have I mentioned before that I'm eager to be done with grad school?? ;)
