I have never been pink's biggest fan, but this blush color? Definitely a fan. Thank you, fashion world, for allowing this color to have a "moment" because I can now buy all things blush-colored.
For some reason, Mother Nature decided that 80 degrees would be a suitable temperature for a late October day here on the east coast. I do not mind 80 degrees nor do I mind 50 degrees. I do, however, mind a swift shift from 80 degrees to 50 degrees in one day's time. Do not fret. I layered up for the occasion. I had a scarf and coat in the morning and let the guns out of the cardigan after work.
The Look:
Cardigan: Old Navy
Blouse: Apt 9 via Kohl's (gift from Momma)
Pants: Exact Stretch from The Limited
Wedges: J.Crew Factory
I LOVE blush. And this shade looks fantastic on you! I also layered up yesterday. By the end of the day I was carrying my cardigan in my bag as I left work. And when I got home I realized I'd forgotten my jacket at school too. Whoops.
ReplyDeleteI don't like pink either, except for blush!
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with pink? :-) I agree, the rapid changes in temps around here are annoying and make it hard to get myself or my kids dressed. Just pick a season, Mother Nature.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I'm the complete opposite with pinks- I don't think I own anything blush colored! It's just too similar to my skin color and then I'm all washed out. This time of year is so tricky! I'm having those temperature swings on an almost daily basis, so lots of layers are a must. I'm not ready at all for winter, so I'm happy a light jacket or no jacket is still acceptable!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy I don't teach early in the morning anymore. The "wake up and it's 40-50 degrees but head home when it's 70+ degrees" gets old fast. Blush was meant for you. That, and black and white. But suuuuuriously.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you on blush - I got "pinked out" after years of being that obnoxious girl who owns everything in bright-ass pink, but blush? I can do blush. And so can you - this outfit looks so great on you! I feel like my body gets so confused on those awkward temperature days...like, I get clammy and cold and sweaty and flushed all at the same time. And then my old lady knees start aching. And then I become a hot (slash cold) mess.
