Holiday Look

These shoes are more comfortable when I'm wearing tights.
Tights are only comfortable when they're not control top. How do I keep managing to buy control top? I really need to pay more attention when I'm tights shopping. When I finally start paying attention, I'll actually be needing control top.
Am I the only one whose feet still feel like they're in heels even after I've had them off for a few hours? I find that I'm tip toeing around the house.
Yeah, probably.

Also, I'll have you know that I went into the dressing room only to take pictures of this outfit.
And I walked out with things for myself.
Who the crap buys things for herself a few days before Christmas?
Shame on me.
(It's okay if you're judging me right now. I'm judging me, too.)

In case you wanted to know, Marshall's should really consider cleaning their mirrors.
Some random lady at Marshall's stopped me to tell me how nice I looked today.
Best feeling ever...aside from rubbing your bare feet on the carpet after wearing heels all day. Is that just me?
One of my previous students found my blog. Hello to you, my wonderful, little stalker.
This is my shout out to you. I'm sure you'll tell me if you've read this post.
It's a good thing I don't post anything inappropriate for the world to see.

The top of my head does exist, but I felt that my shoes were more important than the bun on top of my head. It's a terrible bun. Several students thought it would be appropriate to swat at it.

Outfit Deets:
Blazer: NY & Co. ($63.32 at Asos)
Skirt: J.Lo at Kohl's (I needed a little sparkle.)--love this cream/gold one for $15
Shirt: White House Black Market
Tights: No clue...the control top store?
Shoes: Mix No. 6 via DSW--I WANT THESE! Badly.
I'm a size 8.5 if anyone wants to surprise me.

Yep, I linked up with The Perpetual Student's Wife. Feel free to check out some other lovely ladies' holiday looks.

  2. I liked the top because it's actually lower in the back (which I was not coordinated enough to take a picture of) instead of the front! I'm glad I linked up, too :) Thanks for hosting!
