Paisley Maxi Skirt

So, I chose this hidden spot by the deck steps for pictures because the "neighbor" down the hill was staring at me while I set up my tripod. It weirded me out, so I chose a spot that she (or was it a he?) couldn't see. As a result, my boots suffered from the wet ground more than they would have in my usual spot.
Dang creepers.

I liked this shirt because I thought the back buttons were cool; however, they should come with a disclaimer. This morning before I left for work, I reached into the top of the coat closet for a pair of gloves. When I  reached up, one of my buttons unbuttoned itself! I was impressed with my one-handed buttoning ability. Maybe I can enter a circus with that act?

I love maxi skirts. They're comfortable, they look lovely, and they do not require me to shave my legs. Oh, my poor husband. I especially like this one because it's comprised of so many colors that it offers me lots of options for tops!

You know, I feel like sinus headaches should come with complimentary bruises. My face hurts as if someone punched me in the cheekbone, but no one actually slugged me across the face. People should be able to see how much my face hurts without my saying "my face hurts" and hearing "well, it's killing me." Oh, please. Don't quit your day job.  However, I'm eating gluten-free animal cookies. They kind of make up for face pain. Kind of. If only sugar cured pain instead of inducing diabetes, I would forever feel like a million bucks. Yeah, I should be working out to feel better, but it's so much easier to just lift a few giraffe-shaped cookies to my mouth.

Leather Coat: Wilson's Leather (got it for $45 on Black Friday!)
(I like this one in Bordeaux--$40 from Target)
Top: Forever21 (this $20 navy-aqua one is really cute! It also buttons up the back.)
Skirt: NY & Co. (exact one for $16.48--a steal!)
Boots: Steve Madden (exact ones for $99)

Edit: Since I was at the doctor and couldn't post what I actually wore on Wednesday, I linked up Monday's outfit with The Pleated Poppy.
