Dressing Room Diaries

This skirt needs to get into my closet. RIGHT NOW.
I love the blush color, but I'm even more in love with the black.
And so is Mom. If Mom loves it, then it's a win.
(I know I'm not the only one who texts her Mom pictures with captions that say, "What do you think?" "Tell me to buy it." "Tell me NOT to buy it." "Come meet me?")

For your information, the blush skirt is a small, and the black is an extra small.
Pretty sure the extra small fits better, which might be why I prefer the black?
The waist is elastic with some lovely, gold trimming, and the lining isn't all discombobulated.
(I might have to snag my mom's 30% off coupon that starts on the 10th and use some Kohl's cash in order to make this beauty mine for some holiday goodness!)

Which one do you like?

Skirt is Lauren Conrad at Kohl's

Oh, and here is what I wore into the store.

I cannot stop wearing these shoes.

The Outfit:
Cardigan: SO via...you guessed it: Kohl's
Scarf: gift (all the way from India! My colleague is from India and brought me this gorgeous scarf.)
Jeans: New York and Company
Earrings: Francesca's (at least three ladies stopped me to compliment them. You go, earrings.)
Shoes: DSW

  1. I LOVE that skirt! I was shopping at Kohl's today too! I did not see this skirt in my store though. This would be perfect for a holiday party! Your look so cute in it and I love it with the simple white tee!

  2. I think the black one fits you better- the blush one draws attention to your hips (or whatever the name of the place where the side of your shirt meets your skirt is). I feel like you could come up with more outfits with the black one. How did you envision yourself styling the skirts?

  3. I agree with everything Kate said - the blush one is pretty, but the black one fits you much better and I think it would be more versatile? I understand why you keep wearing those shoes - they're amazing! I wish I could wear heels, but they just are not comfortable for me at all :(
